Dear sirs,
on internet forums from former Yugoslavia (forums in Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia) there are rumours that You are looking forward to suggestions for train models. As we were talking there is an interest for Yugoslav class 11 (JZ 11) steam loco that can be seen in the Slovenian train museum (JZ 11-023) and also in Croatia and Serbia. Basically it is former MAV Class 424 and it could be intersting model also for Hungary and Romania. In former Yugoslav countries is very interesting as all three locos that drove famous blue train are preserved, probably the best preserved is in Slovenian museum.
Speaking of steam locos You have recently produced fantastic BR 58 loco which is known in former Yugoslavia as JZ36. If there is a possibility to produce some limited series of this loco with JZ markings, there is JZ 36-013 in restoration in Slovenian railroad musem. By the way I intend to buy one BR58 in the next few months but would love to buy it with JZ markings if it has been available...
I would propose USA built EMD G16 or JZ class 661 loco. It is still in use in all republics of foreign Yugoslavia as well in Australia, Hong Kong and Brazil. It is well known for their rigidity. Here we have many many lovers of this loco so maybe this would be interesting option as well?
In Slovenia there is a lot of fans of Alsthom's electric locomotive class 363 which can be produced with some conversion from existing model You allready produce (i.e HJ2025 - french CC6549). Maybe there could be some limited series like Roco's recently produced 500 Taurus (SZ541) of which all have been sold in 2-3 months?
There is also one model which could be interesting for Slovenian and Italian modellers that is Slovenian class 342 or Italian FS E640. Italian ones are slovenian class 342 sold to Italy and ther it is in use with FNM (Ferrovie Nord Milano) and FER (Ferrovie Emiglia Romana).
